Our Why
Two families living in Oconee County and Athens, Georgia wanted more for their dogs. With busy, on-the-go lifestyles, it was often difficult to provide the level of activity, enrichment, and care their dogs deserved. Camp Wagalong was created to offer a healthier alternative to traditional dog boarding and dog daycare in the Athens area, giving dogs a full day of play, enrichment, and socialization while providing convenience for the people who love them.
A Camp For Dogs
At Camp Wagalong, it’s like summer camp for dogs every day. Campers are thoughtfully grouped and rotate through activities that keep them active, engaged, and happy, including lure chasing in the exercise field, scent exploration on our Sniffari, trail walks, playground time with friends, and Barks & Crafts enrichment.
