Camp Wagalong FAQs

We’re so excited to welcome your pup to a place full of fun, friends, and tail-wagging adventures. To keep camp safe, happy, and healthy for every camper, we have a few simple guidelines below.

I am new... how do I get started?

Click the "Book Now" option and then choose "Sign Up."  Then just follow the prompts to register your dog and then you can book!

Which vaccines should my dog have?

Every camper needs these core vaccines before joining the fun!

  • Rabies

  • DHPP (Distemper/Parvo/Parainfluenza)

  • Bordetella (every 6 or 12 months)

  • Leptospirosis

We also recommend the Canine Influenza vaccine to keep our campers extra safe and since we play outdoors and in the woods, flea & tick prevention is strongly encouraged too.  Since we do remove collars, flea and tick collars are not a good option for camp.

Do I need to bring my dog's collar and leash?

Yes!  Campers won’t wear their regular collars during play (it’s safer that way). We’ll give them a comfy camp paper collar instead but please have your dog's collar and leash on when dropping off for camp.

What do you do when it rains?

Even the dogs agree— a rainy day at camp beats a lonely day at home!

No two rainy days are the same, so we adjust our plans based on the timing and type of weather.

Our goal? Keep tails wagging and campers moving.  Heavy downpour? We rotate groups through our covered turf area, the Pawvillion.  Light mist? We might head out for a trail walk or explore the Sniffari, where the forest canopy offers natural cover.

Our playground has over 10,000 square feet of turf that allows us to shift activities as the weather changes to keep the fun going.  At the end of the day, we don’t send home muddy dogs — just happy, tired ones!

What does my dog need to bring to camp?

When your pup stays overnight, here’s what to bring:

         âœ” Leash & collar/harness for check-in
âœ” Their regular food in an air tight container (pre-portions meals in ziplock baggies is preferred)

âœ” Any medications in original bottles or a clearly labeled pill organizer
âœ” Specialty bowls (like slow feeders), if needed
âœ” Label all belongings with your camper’s name & your last name

Camp provides comfy bedding, blankets, bowls, and all the essentials — so you can leave the extra

toys, crates, rawhide bones, and blankets at home.

If food is forgotten, we’ll happily provide house food for $2/day.

What are the rules on spayed and neutering?

For safety, female campers can’t attend while in heat (or right after).  Intact pups are welcome to play, but if we notice any issues, we may recommend being a solo camper.

Can I bring my puppy to camp?

Puppy campers are welcome once they’re at least 4 months old and have completed their final round of puppy shots.

How do reservations, deposits, and cancellations work?

Here are the details...

  • We do need to have a credit card on file.  That makes check-in/out smooth and speedy.

  • Peak-time & holiday stays require a 50% deposit (refundable if canceled 48 hours before).

  • Campers staying 3+ nights will have a basic bath added to their invoice before heading home.  Bath prices are based on weight.  Check out all our prices and our premium bath options HERE.

  • Extended stays (10+ nights) get a 10% discount.

  • For long-term campers (14+ nights), a 50% deposit is needed.  Payments are then made every 5 days.
